September 2008 Meeting
On September 20th Jeff Wilcox and Ernest Schaal compared two different electronic devices for reading books: the Kindle and the Cybook. The Kindle has the advantage of a wide range of products available from Amazon.com, while the Cybook has the advantage of a wider selection of formats for ebooks.
August 2008 Computer Store Tour
On August 16th we toured three stores near Nagoya Station, including Bic Camera, SoftMap, and CompuMart.
July 2008 Meeting
On July 19th, we had an informal Question and Answer session. The venue was at Asakuma Restaurant in Showaku because Shooters was not available.
June 2008 Meeting
On June 21st, Alex McLaren discussed the wealth of Mac applications, with examples of his favorites. The venue was at Asakuma Restaurant in Showaku because Shooters was not available, but in July the meeting should be in Shooters.
May 2008 Meeting
On May 17th, 2008, at Shooters Bar, Nagoya. Jeffery Willcox presented a talk on open source 3D graphics programs POV-Ray and Blender.
