Stephen "Hiroshi" W. gave his presentation on 17 December 2005.
Have you ever downloaded a series of video clips only to realize that it would have been better if it had been one long clip? Or maybe you had a long clip that a small portion that you didn't want and wanted to get rid of it but didn't know what to do or where to get the software to do it. Or maybe you just wanted to capture some of the video from your computer vid camera. Or maybe you went online looking for a video editor and didn't want to pay the price for it or couldn't decide on which one to get. Did you know that if you have Windows XP that you don't even have to turn on the internet to find a video editor? That's right! Win XP comes with its own video editor, Movie Maker, and if you are just looking to do some simple editing, it might just be the silver bullet you are looking for. In the December meeting of the NIPCC, we will looked into some of the features and capabilities of Movie Making including joining clips together, removing unwanted portion of a clip and capturing and editing video from a camera. We played Hollywood for a day.
