We had a short Internet history and PC trivia quiz. Then we ordered lunch as a question/answer session began to take shape. More like a roundhouse discussion/debate actually. Some topics included: Devices useful to transfer files from PC to PC without networking. Dealing with SPAM. Averting viruses. Types of routers. What a firewall does compared to what an antivirus does. The need for a Svideo cable for the shooters TV. The Pros and Cons of leaving computers on versus turning them off. A short demo of how to turn off error reporting in XP. How to turn off hard disks and monitors using the screensaver and power tabs in XP. And..........................????????????
