There were fifteen people at the NIPCC meeting on Vista, Microsoft's latest OS. The 3D graphics on Vista are lovely. Though there seem to be some things to work out regarding drivers and hardware compatibility. Steve recommends we wait a year or so before we upgrade to Vista. Microsoft has made many versions of this OS for different prices and features. Steve says we should not buy the cheaper versions as they will lack the lovely graphical capabilities and media soft. Also he urges us to not get the upgrade but the full version for ease of installation.

It was a well organized talk. Steve spent many many hours with Vista in preparation. Seems there were some drivers he had to search around for.
