Jeff Wilcox will tell us about video transcoding technologies and techniques. Not a meeting to miss is you're into digital video editing in our digital age!

On our meeting in November last year, Ernest Schaal gave us presentation on how to develop software for iPhone software platform. Ernest has his software in Apple's App Store now, and during this month's meeting he will share his experience about getting an application approved to App Store, and life of the application after is has been approved.

This month is the NIPCC's annual shopping tour!  We'll be meeting up at Kamimaezu exit 9 at 12 noon this Saturday May 15th.  From there we'll be hitting the best spots in Osu, finishing up at the Mac Store in Sakae, and then optionally getting some lunch.

Note: there will be no meeting at Shooters!

The Facebook discussion meeting has been moved to September due to the current unresolved privacy problems on the Facebook site, these should be be resolved by September.

Ernest is an editor for the Project Gutenberg, so expect to hear some insights you won't hear anywhere else!
